Our team, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Institute for Automotive Research & Testing Center has co-sponsored the "Taiwan Used Car Exports Seminar" back in November 20, 2012, Bringing industries, government and academia together to discuss the potential and prospect of the used cars exports industry development. Special thanks to all the presented guests and the excelllent assistance from both Miss Lee(Divisional Director) and Miss Huang(Senior Manager) of he International Enterprise Singapore.
The seminar findings: with the government subsidy policy, the new car market in Taiwan will be driven to the aprroximate revenue of 600 billion, creating a whole chain of production value of approximately 953.2 billions, an increase of about 97 billion for the Treasury's tax revenue and more than 1% of GDP! (data confirmed by "Taiwan Institute of Economic Research," )
